Sasquatch Water Polo Club Wins 8th Consecutive Tournament

Sasquatch Water Polo Club won their 8th consecutive tournament this weekend, defeating the San Diego Sea Lions in the final in Scottsdale, AZ. The Sasquatch were led on offense by 2-meter set Mike Emery, who scored 5 goals, and left-handed driver Davey Carson, who scored 4 goals. On defense, the Sasquatch were led by goalie Troy Wiltbank, who made 10 saves.

The Sasquatch started the tournament strong, winning their first 3 games by a combined score of 28-5. In the semi-final, they faced a tough opponent in the Santa Barbara Sharks, and they were able to pull out a 10-8 victory.

In the final, the Sasquatch faced the San Diego Sea Lions, who were the only team to defeat them this season. The game was close throughout, but the Sasquatch were able to pull away in the 4th quarter to win 12-10.
