Welcome to Sasquatch Imperial Polo Association (IPA)

We are a Masters-only water polo club based in Seattle. We are made up of experienced players from all over–but live in, or have ties to, the Seattle-area.

We like to play water polo, drink beer*, and travel together to tournaments. Are you an active player who wants to join us? Reach out!

New to Seattle?

In our water polo community, there are several masters teams to consider along with Sasquatch. Please reach out to which team works best for you and your skill level.

  • Seattle Otters co-ed team with beginners welcome. The otters annually host a local tournament in early Feb.
  • Rain City Water Polo and NW Water Polo — Two different youth clubs which occasionally invite masters level players to scrimmage them.
  • Seattle Masters mostly men and former collegiate women who practice Sunday mornings year round.

*While we can all agree that a hoppy, lush northwest IPA is clearly THE beverage of choice, we understand that such a beverage can be too much for some.  We are an inclusive club and tolerate those that prefer a pilsner, cider, or *gasp* Miller lite.  But just barely–oh, if you’re 22 years old, 6’5″, 270 lbs. and have tree trunks for legs…we don’t care what you drink.
